Welcome
We are organizing a Winter School on to be held in Ankara, running through January 20-25,2009. The aim of the School is to provide a platform for discussions of recent progress on nanoelectronics and nanophotonics as well as proving the fundamentals to graduate students and young Ph.D.'s eager to enter the field. There will be tutorial lectures, discussions as well as presentations by graduate students. The School will be open to all interested parties, European participation is especially encouraged. We hope the School will also be a vehicle for establishing scientific contacts and collaborations among the attendees.
The School will be followed by a Workshop on the same topic (January 26-28, 2009) where the latest research results will be presented. We expect to have the attendance of the leading authorities of the field.
Enjoy
Following topics will be covered:
- Nanomaterials and structures
- Nanowires and Nanotubes
- Nanoscale Characterization
- Nanoscale Modeling/Simulation
- Nanophotonics
- Nano-Bio Systems
- Nanoscale Electronics
- Plasmonics
- Nonvolatile Memories
