We are offering two postdoctoral positions to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will join Prof. Coskun Kocabas ’s Quantum Optoelectronics group at Bilkent University, to develop graphene based novel functional devices. The project will be funded by European Research Council (ERC).
Areas of interest in which the candidate is expected to have demonstrated expertise may be any of the following:
1. Graphene based optoelectronic devices
2. THz technology
3. 2-dimensional nanomaterial
4. Plasmonics
5. IR optics
The researcher should have demonstrated experience in one of these fields. The candidate will join an interdisciplinary team of chemists, material scientists and physicists and is expected to closely interact and coordinate research activities with current group members. The candidate is also expected to be able to work independently and develop new research methods along the research lines indicated above.
