- [May 23] Make-up Exam Date
For those documented with an official excuse, the make-up exam will be on Friday May 25th at 09:00 (meeting at my office).
The make-up will be a 90-minute written exam covering ALL subjetcs of Phys-112.

Final results are available from SAPS and also e-mailed to each one of you.
The average is 35 out of 100 with the highest grade being 78; congradulations to Emrah ILBEY...
You can see your exam papers on Friday, May 25th between 14:30-15:30 at my office (Note the time change due to your Calculus exam)

The department has posted a new announcement for morning final exam times. Our Final exam will start 30 minutes earlier at 9:00.
So, the updated final info becomes: May 18 (Friday) in SAZ-01 at 09:00

Second midterm results are available from SAPS and also e-mailed to each one of you.
The average is 59 out of 100 with the highest grade being 100; congradulations to Ibrahim AKCALI...
You can see your exam papers on Tuesday, May 15th between 14:30-15:30 at my office.
- [May 9] Final Exam Date
is announced as: May 18 (Friday) at 09:30 in SAZ-01.
The final exam will cover the subjects involving the Magnetic Field (i.e., Ch. 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 in the 5th Ed.)

will be on Thursday, May 10th. It will be on popular-level-Relativity.
We shall not have a class on Monday, May 14th.

HW-5: (Till 18:00 of Friday, 11 May 2007) From textbook (5th Ed.) Solve Ch.33: Ex. 9, 15 and Prob. 14; Ch.34: Probs. 8, 13, Ch.36: Ex. 8 and Probs. 2, 3.

New date is Thursday, April 26 starting at 9:00 in SAZ-01.
There will be no change in the contents of the exam.
This Thursday we shall have a regular class.

- [Apr. 13] Last Recitation for the 2nd Midterm
will be on April 18th, Wednesday starting at 17:40 in SAZ-01 (if available).
- [Apr. 12] About Second Midterm
Exam will last for 90 minutes on Thursday, April 19 starting at 9:00 in SAZ-01.
The exam will include Ch. 29: Electrical Properties of Materials, Ch. 30: Capacitance,
Ch. 31: DC Circuits, and Ch. 32: The Magnetic Field i.e., HW 3,4.
Ch. 33 will NOT be included (Biot-Savart and Ampere's Laws)

as our recitation assistant has another appoinment at the same time.

- [Mar. 21] Recitations Resume This Thursday
This Thursday between 17:40-18:40 the recitations will resume in SAZ-01. There will be a quiz.

The average is 40.5 out of 100 with the highest grades being 89.
You can see your exam papers on Monday, March 16th between 9:30-10:30 at my office.
If your grade is below average, please do not be upset and prepare well for the second midterm and the final exam.

The exam will include electric charge (Ch. 25), electric field (Ch. 26), Gauss' law (Ch. 27)

Exam will last for 90 minutes on Thursday March 8th starting at 9:00 in SAZ-01.
