Eurasia Pacific Summer School on Strongly Correlated Electrons
[6 - 11] August 2012
The summer school part of these twin meetings is designed to train young researchers in the research fields related to strongly correlated electron systems. Research students who already work in related fields are highly encouraged to apply. The participants will be selected from those applications satisfying a minimum basic background in condensed matter physics.
In order to have an advanced exposition to the current state of the art in strongly correlated electron systems, the participants are also highly recommended and encouraged to attend the follow up international conference Eurasia-Pacific Conference on Strongly Correlated Electrons between [12-17] August 2012.
The lecturers in the school are:
Jason Alicea (UC Irvine, USA)
Yunkyu Bang (Chonnam National Univ, Korea)
Toshiaky Enoki (Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan)
Balazs Hetenyi (Bilkent University, Turkey)
Özgür Müstecaplıoğlu (Koç University, Turkey )
Sriram Shastry (UC Santa Cruz, USA)
Afif Sıddıki (İstanbul University, Turkey)
Zlatko Tesanovic (Johns Hopkings University, USA)
Nai-Chang Yeh (California Institute of Technology, Taiwan)
Xingjiang Zhou (Chinese Academy, China)
