Literature Survey

YouTube or TED talks are nice sources to find videos at elementary or intermediate levels.
Some topics I have found

  • Do a "Google Scholar" search of the topic. Identify research paper(s) which might interest you. (Example)
  • Look at the references of the paper. What is the earliest reference? (Example)
  • Do a citation search of these papers. You can either use the citation citation index or the Scopus search engines. How many citations?
What are the most recent citations for the original paper and the earliest cited paper?
  • Look at the publication record of the first author. (The first one)
