B.Sc. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Engineering at Middle East Technical University.
Ph.D. in Mathematics at University of Wisconsin-Madison (advisor Prof. Alejandro Ádem).

Employment:

Britton Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University (2004 - 2007).
Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics at Bilkent University (2007 - current).

Math 112 Section 01 Math 124 Research interests: My main research interests are in the areas of algebraic topology and geometric group theory. In particular, I am interested in constructing group actions on manifolds. Publications:
