Make sure you check the webpage and read your emails often. There will be occasional announcements, which you should not miss. This page will be expanded slowly, as the semester progresses.
Homework assignment #3: problems 22, 33, 38, 43, 70 from chapter 4 of the book. The assigments are due by Thursday (Feb 30, 2006). They must be placed on the desk by the beginning of the lecture.
Homework assignment #2: problems 28, 34, 39, 62, 66, 76 from chapter 3 of the book. The assigments are due by Thursday (Feb 23, 2006). They must be placed on the desk by the beginning of the lecture.
Homework assignment #1: problems 61, 63, 106, 110, 112, 115 from chapter 2 of the book. The assigments are due by Thursday (Feb 16, 2006). They must be placed on the desk by the beginning of the lecture.
Please come to the lecture having read the corresponding material from your textbook. This will make it easier to follow the lectures.
There will be a quiz everyday. It may be at the begining or end of the lecture. The quiz will cover either that day's lecture or the previous lecture. Please be prepared.
Homeworks will be announced electronically, so make sure you check your email often. Typically the homework will be due in one week. Please place all homework on the desk in the lecture hall before the lecture begins. The homework must be written legibly and stapled together securely.
