“Gröbner bases and primary decomposition of binomial edge ideals”

Abstract: An algebraic object attached to a simple graph is the binomial edge ideal. In this talk we give a reduced Gröbner basis for a binomial edge ideal with respect to the lexicographic order. Also we determine a primary decomposition of a binomial edge ideal.
