"Asymptotic properties of Jacobi matrices for a family of fractal measures"

Abstract: We consider an algorithm for calculation of recurrence coefficients for orthogonal polynomials on some fractal sets. We discuss stability of the algorithm, different aspects of asymptotics of recurrence coefficients and present some conjectures. The result is joint with G. Alpan and A. Goncharov.
