"Gibbs measures and phase transitions"
Abstract: The theory of Gibbs measures belong to the borderland between statistical mechanics and probability theory and investigates corporate behavior of interacting random variables. In the present talk we give a gentle introduction to the theory of Gibbs random fields based on the Ising model.
