"Finding Idempotents
of the Trivial Source Algebra"

Abstract: The
primitive idempotents of the Burnside algebra of a
finite group can be computed explicitly by a formula found by Gluck and later
independently by Yoshida. Using this, Bouc and Thevenaz obtained a formula for the primitive idempotents
of the trivial source algebra. In this talk, for a concrete example, we shall
calculate the primitive idempotents directly and we
shall investigate whether it is possible to obtain a simpler formula.
