"The Image of the Orientation Homomorphism"

Abstract:
In this talk I will give
the definition of the orientation homomorphism from the (B,f)-cobordism groups to homology groups of B. I will also discuss some methods
to compute the image
of the orientation homomorphism and mention some results for certain examples where B is a
classifying space of a finite group G
and f is the representation bundle for a given representation of G.
