"Incorporating Clifford Theory
into the Theory of Group Functors"
By
Abstract: We
shall begin with an introduction to the biset
category, which is a category whose morphisms are
generated by some of bisets called restriction,
induction, inflation, deflation and isogation. Our interest
is in similar categories where these bisets are
replaced by suitable bimodules. Some of these bimodules are the permutation bimodules
associated with restriction induction, inflation, deflation and isogation. Other bimodules
associated with the category appear in certain Morita equivalences arising in
Clifford theory. We shall discuss a particular case of this.
