"Julia Sets and Their Generalizations"

Abstract: Although
Fatou and Julia sets were defined 100 years ago,
these sets became popular after "Chaos Theory" revolution in natural
sciences at the second half of the 20th century. In this introductory talk, we consider
different definitions and properties of Julia sets and "generalized Julia
sets". We briefly discuss relatively modern results on orthogonal
polynomials for polynomial Julia sets.
