Matrix Characterization of A-Statistical Convergence

Abstract: By using a recently introduced concept of A-uniform integrability, (for nonnegative regular matrices A) we characterize the set of multipliers of the summability field of A, (denoted as m__A (U)), over any algebra, U, that lies in the sequence space of A-uniformly integrable sequences. Among the main results, it is shown that the space of multipliers is closely related to the space of A-statistically convergent sequences, and that A-statistical convergence over bounded sequences is equivalent to a regular matrix method.
