Abstract:
We investigate the number
of connected components of a complete intersection of several real projective
quadrics. A complete answer is known/given in dimensions 0 and 1 and
codimensions 1 and 2. We produce new estimates in the case of codimension 3,
which show that there is no bound depending on the codimension only.
