subspaces for Banach space operators and Reflexivity"

Abstract: I
will first talk about an invariant subspace result by Ambrozie and Muller for
Banach space operators whose spectrum contains the unit circle. Then I will
describe briefly how this result can be extended to operators with a multiply
connected spectrum. If time permits, I will discuss the corresponding
reflexivity problem.
