Abstract:

We study the asymptotic zero distribution of

I_n ( z, a, F )=(1-a) s_n ( z, F ) – a t_n ( z, F )

where a is any complex number, s_n is n^th section, t_n is n^th tail of a classical Lindelöf function F. Our results generalize the results by A. Edrei, E.B. Saff and R.S. Varga for the case a=0.
